FACULTY OF MANAGEMENT STUDIES (FMS) UNIVERSITY OF DELHI Announces 2-year full-time MBA, 3-year part-time MBA, 3-year part-time MBA (Health Care Administration) and Ph.D programmes beginning July 2011

FMS MBA entrance exam is a MBA Entrance Exam conducted by the Faculty of Management Studies. The pattern of the exam includes Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation, Analytical Reasoning, Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension; all these are covered in about 175 questions.
Two-year full-time MBA, 3-year part-time MBA, 3-year part-time MBA (Health Care Administration) and Ph.D programmes beginning July 2011

FMS 2010 EXAM IMPORTANT DATES
Online registration for admission test: 06.09.2010 to 15.10.2010
Admission test: MBA and Ph.D: 05th December, 2010, 2.00 p.m.
MBA (part time)/MBA (HCA): 23rd January, 2011, 2.00 p.m.
MBA (full time): Candidates applying for admission to the 2-year full time MBA must have pursued at least a 3-year Bachelor’s degree programme after 12 years of formal schooling. The minimum requisite percentage of marks (in aggregate) in different disciplines; Arts, Commerce or Social Science 50%; Sciences 55%; Mathematics or Statistics 60%; Medicine, Engineering or Technology 60%/CGPA of at least 6.00 in a scale of 10.00 or Post Graduate degree or 2nd degree examination after 10+2+3 scheme, securing at least 60% marks. Candidates appearing for the final examination of Bachelor’s/post-graduate degree examination may also apply
MBA (part-time): Candidates seeking admission to the three-year MBA part time programme must have passed a Bachelor’s degree examination of at least three years duration in Arts, Commerce, Science, Engineering or Technology of the university of Delhi or any other university recognized as equivalent thereto with at least 45% marks in aggregate in the first degree examination and possess other qualifications mentioned hereunder. Relaxation from the minimum marks required in the first degree examination may be made for candidates who have obtained 55% or more marks in any post graduate degree or at least 60% marks in diploma in personnel management, diploma in sales and marketing management or diploma in administrative management of the university of Delhi. As on 1st August, 2011, Candidates should have a minimum of three years experience, as an executive or administrator in a commercial, industrial or government establishment after passing the bachelor’s degree examination. Candidates must be sponsored by his/her present employer
MBA (Health Care Administration) (part time): Candidates seeking admission to the three-year MBA (HCA) part time programme shall have passed a Bachelor’s degree examination in medicine of the university of Delhi or any other university recognized as equivalent thereto with a minimum of 5 years experience, as on 1st August, 2011, in Health Care Administration after acquiring the Bachelor’s degree in Medicine. Candidates must be sponsored by his/her present employer
Doctoral programme: Candidates except (i) Teachers of University of Delhi who have completed two years of experience (ii) those appearing in final year examination of MBA (full time/MS/part time/HCA) at FMS or have successfully completed MBA (full time/MS/part time/HCA) from FMS during the last two years (iii) recipients of national scholarships (JRF through UGC/CSIR NET, CSIR/ CAR/ CCSR/ DBT/ DST/ or other GoI Fellowships, are required to take the admission test to be held on Sunday, 5th December, 2010
Candidates exempted from the admission test are required to apply to FMS by submitting the completed form of BRS, FMS, along with a demand draft of Rs 250/- drawn in favour of Registrar, University of Delhi, by 31st January, 2011

Foreign students: All foreign nationals seeking admission should apply through the office of Dy Dean, Foreign students, university of Delhi. Foreign nationals studying in Indian Universities are required to appear in the FMS admission test. Foreign nationals with Indian degree (but not currently staying in India) are required to submit GMAT scores (minimum score of 650) and foreign nationals with foreign degrees are advised to submit GMAT and TOEFL scores
The admission test for MBA (full time) and Ph.D programmes will be held on 05th December, 2010 and the admission test for MBA (part time) and MBA (HCA) programmes will be held on 23rd January, 2011
Applicants can register themselves for the test through FMS website www.fms.edu by filling up online registration forms and by paying requisite fee of Rs 750/- (Rs 200/- for SC/ST category) for each programme

A candidate may apply for one or more programmes
Incomplete forms and those without requisite fee will not be entertained
The bank drafts (if payment is not made online) must be drawn in favour of the registrar, university of Delhi
Completed forms should be sent to the administrative officer, faculty of management studies, university of Delhi, Delhi-110007
FMS reserves the right to change or cancel any of the test centres at its own discretion
FMS, university of Delhi will not be responsible for any postal delay
FMS will not entertain any chargeback cases of online payment
All matters of dispute will be subject to the legal jurisdiction of Delhi only
Those applying for the reserved category seats (SC/ST/PBC/PH/CW) need to send self-attested photocopy of their applicable category certificate, along with the computer generated registration form (after online registration) to FMS before 15th October, 2010
